We have met Gustav to talk about inspiration, goals and future. Here are 5 quick questions with the gold medalist.
How has your chef of the year been so far?
My year so far has been absolutely fantastic. I've had a lot of fun stuff and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year. I think it will be interesting and exciting to see what is to come.
What kind of cooking are you passionate about?
The cooking that I am passionate about it is mainly Swedish food crafts. The Cultural that we have in our cooking. But to refine it and make it something that is a little more modern simply.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I am inspired by everything I see, hear and read.
How do you want people to think of you as a cook?
Something I hope for is that I can be a source of inspiration for the future generation in the gastronomic world.
What do you want to do in the future, what do you see yourself in 5 years?
One big goal I have is to win the Bocuse d'or, and that's something I'll try to put forward.
